The Sunshine Transit’s RIPPLES initiative provides free transportation for seniors who live in the Upper Su, transporting them from their residences once weekly to the Upper Susitna Senior Center for a complimentary meal and time to socialize. With the aid of this grant, Sunshine Transit will expand the program, enabling seniors from the Upper Susitna area to partake in activities at senior centers in Palmer and Wasilla.
